I just booked an awesome D.C.-area photographer, Joe Portnoy of Snap! Photography. I actually found him through flickr after searching for photos of the Birkby House. I was looking for inspiration for how to set up the space, and I stumbled upon a set of photos from a wedding he photographed there last year. They were really gorgeous and I love his style. Weddings are only a part of his business, so his approach is fresh and fun. I've found that studios that only do wedding photography can end up a bit stale (not to mention overpriced), so I am thrilled to have found Joe.
