Brookside Gardens

I got in a funk last night while doing some research - this planning business is overwhelming. Turns out that making the commitment to get married in the first place is easier than committing to a reception venue. I know, I know, I just started...but i started this blog to keep track of every step, even the whiny ones.
Anywho, I found a couple of other interesting sites - Brookside Gardens in MD is somewhat similar to the Meadowlark Botanical gardens, and more reasonably priced. Although the reception hall is nowhere near as cool as the Meadowlark Atrium, and it's in Maryland (pffft). But there's this nice gazebo and a "Japanese Tea House" in the middle of a pond.
